1. Search and tree structure panel

In the search field, you can search for a CSC by entering the two letter CSC code. Perform the search by clicking the icon. The search function also supports search by key words.

Below the search function, the CSC are presented in a tree structure, structured by component/function. Each component/function in the tree structure can be expanded by clicking the icon or by double clicking the function group. Once expanded, you can select either a function or a symptom type.

2. List of CSC

When a function or symptom is selected from the tree structure, or when a search has been performed, a list of CSC is presented in the right-hand panel.

The list is structured in the following columns:

Operation

Click View to view related operation(s) for the CSC. A pop-up is displayed from which you can add the operation to a work list. See the how-to article Adding related operations for instructions.

If the operation is not added manually to a work list as described above, it is auto suggested by a pop-up to add it once a CSC is added. This can be changed in the Operations and Packages Settings settings.

Select CSC to add by using the checkboxes on the left hand side of each row in the list. From the drop-down menu below the list, you can select the list you want to add the CSC to. You can also select to create a new one. Retrieve a quick view of a list by clicking View List. When the desired list is selected, click the Add to List button to add the CSC.

Note

Note

If the CSC already exist in the work list, a warning will be displayed.

Language settings

In the upper right-hand side of this page, a drop-down menu containing all VIDA languages is available. Here you can change language of the CSC to a language other than the VIDA application language. Changing language can e.g. be useful when communicating with a customer talking another language than the default VIDA language. Note that all application texts always follow the default application language and will not be affected by the language selected in this drop-down menu. This dynamic language change only affects the CSC. Previously opened tabs or any tabs that will be opened later will not be affected.

Note

Note

Search within CSC will follow the dynamic language.
