The source of reference information in VIDA is accessed by profiling a vehicle and expanding the tab. By selecting an information type and an associated subtype, the middle panel is populated. The information in this panel is structured in function groups, according to the information structure in VIDA. Find the relevant document you are looking for by digging down into the information structure. Documents are presented in the right-hand panel.
The following five main information types are available in the left-hand menu panel:
A search function is available. Find a function group by entering its number to directly navigate to the corresponding function group. All three levels of function groups are supported, meaning that if you are not sure of the lowest level, it is possible to enter a higher level, e.g. group 43 and navigate further from there. The search function also supports search by key words. This is useful if you do not know the number of the function group you are searching for.
Within diagnostic documents, certain diagnostic fault tracing flows are displayed. Within these documents there are buttons that lead you further or end the fault tracing flow (for example , , or ).
