This procedure describes how to order a software product on behalf of an independent operator that has provided you the VIN of the vehicle.

1. Start by selecting or connecting the vehicle to work with. Use the VIN provided by the independent operator.

2. Open the Software tab.

3. Select software products (one or many as specified by the independent operator) to purchase from one of the list on the left-hand side of the page. When the software product(s) are selected, click Add Software.

ð	The software product(s) are shown under the Order Queue tab on the right-hand side of the page.

4. Click the Order for Independent Workshop button.

ð	A pop-up is opened.

5. Enter the Partner ID of the independent operator and click Search.

You need to enter the exact Partner ID. No wild card search is possible here.

ð	Another pop-up is opened.

6. Select the user ID of the independent operator you are placing the order on behalf of and click Place Order.

ð	An order confirmation is shown. Click Done to close.

7. The order is now placed under the Order History tab on the right-hand side of the page. By clicking the order, certain order details are displayed.

8. Contact the independent operator to confirm that the software has been ordered correctly.
