It is always possible to insert the Ethernet cable into the vehicle without interrupting ongoing wireless diagnostic communication with the vehicle. Communication will switch over to Ethernet cable only when the vehicle is available to use by VIDA and not when it is already used by a VIDA workstation. Communication will never switch back to Wi-Fi as long as the cable is connected in both ends.

When removing the cable, it may be required to make the vehicle reconnect to the Wi-Fi by using the remote control key.
