Follow the steps below to perform a full test by using the DiCE Test Unit.

1. Power up the DiCE by connecting it to a 12 V power supply.

2. Power up the DiCE Test Unit by connecting it to a 12 V power supply. The power LED should be lit when connected correctly.

3. Connect the DiCE to the DiCE Test Unit.

ð	The vehicle interface status LED on the the DiCE is now lit (firm red light).

4. Start VIDA.

5. Open the Home à Connected Vehicles tab.

6. Ensure that the correct DiCE is chosen in the drop-down menu.

ð	The DiCE Configuration button appears.

7. Click DiCE Configuration.

ð	The DiCE Configuration pop-up opens.

8. In the DiCE Configuration pop-up, select your DiCE unit in the unit drop-down list.

9. Click Test Communication Tool.

10. Click Run.

11. Set the DiCE Test Unit switch to position 1. Click OK.

12. Set the DiCE Test Unit switch to position 2. Click OK.

ð	OK should be displayed to the right of every row.

13. If this does not work, a Communication error message will be shown.

ð	Please check the switch positions and try again. If it still does not work, the DiCE is out of order and has to be replaced.

14. Repeat steps 8-13 for DiCE connected via USB as well as Bluetooth.

15. Click Close in the Test communication tool window.

16. Click Close in the DiCE Configuration window .

ð	You have now successfully performed a DiCE full test by using the DiCE Test Unit.
