This chapter explains the main processes of three main types of workshop booking requests in VIDA. Two of these are initiated by vehicle and one by customer.

The procedures take both the actions that needs to be taken at the workshop and by the customer in to consideration to provide a complete picture of the workflow. Actions taken at the workshop is highlighted in bold.

Workshop booking requests initiated by vehicle are only possible with Sensus cloud connected vehicles. The customer needs to accept these requests before they are sent to the dealer.
In addition to using the Workshop Appointment Management requests, customers are always free to call the dealer to book a workshop appointment. In these cases the dealer confirms the agreed appointment date and time on behalf of the customer by using the appointments functionalities in VIDA.
