The work list view shows detailed information of a selected work list. A work list is always connected to a specific vehicle profile.
The primary functionality here is basically to search and add or remove items (CSC, parts, operations and packages) in a work list. You can also change the quantity of added work list items and retrieve price information and other details if a DMS is available.
The work list view has three main sections:

When creating a new work list, an empty list is shown. Populate and manage a work list by using the functions described in the sections below.

Clicking this button activates a pop-up window from which you can create a new list. Select what type of list to create and enter a list name. An order number for the list can be entered as well. By using the print functionality you can print the work list or the service checklist. You can select what to print once the icon is clicked. A print preview is then shown in a pop-up. Work lists and service checklists are printed in the dynamic language that is selected. See the section about languages settings below for additional information. |

Status |
A work list always has a certain status. Some statuses are set by VIDA at certain occurrences whilst some statuses can also be modified by users working with the list. Click the icon to modify a work list's status. The following statuses are available: |

Automatically set when a work list is retrieved from DMS. |

Automatically set once you have marked every row in the work list as completed. See table in section 2 for additional information. This status can also be set manually. |

Automatically set if you make any changes on a work list with status Complete or Retrieved. This status can also be set manually. |

Planned |
Manually set once you decide the planning is completed. |

Search/Quick Add |
By using this function, you can search and add items to your work list. Use the button to perform a search. The search results is presented in another view, see the article Search results view for further information. If you are aware of the ID/number of a CSC or part to add, use the button. This adds the item to the list instantly. |

If a DMS is available, a work order can be retrieved from the DMS and added to the work list. All items from the retrieved work order are automatically added to the work list (depending on DMS interface version and implementation). Information about price, stock quantity and stock location for each part in the work list can be retrieved from the DMS as well. Notes |
Click the icon to add a note to the work list. Notes are useful to quickly capture customer inputs or other memos that need to be stored with the list. Once you have written a note, the icon turns yellow to indicate that a note is attached to the list. Please note that comments are not sent to DMS. |

The content of a work list is grouped according to what is selected in the Group By drop-down menu (see the table above).
All items in a work list are ordered in columns. See the table below for a description of each column.

Short description of the item. The icon indicates that there is a reference document available. Click the icon to open the document. |
Job Value |
Time required to perform a specific operation. For general operations there is no predefined job value. In these cases an input field is available so that the job value can be entered manually. Subtotal time is displayed below each group of items in the work list. The total time for all groups of items is summarized in the lower part of the work list below all groups of items. |

Input fields to assign job number. |
Quantity |
Input fields to modify the quantity of items in the list. Please note that there is a max quantity limit (1) for each package you add to a work list. Also, many operations have a max quantity limit (often 1). It is not possible to add a variant of an operation if it exceeds the maximum quantity of the operation. In these cases an error message will appear and it will not be possible to add the operation to the list again. |
Labour Cost |
Displays the price for items in the work list. Subtotal cost is displayed below each group of items in the work list. The total cost for all groups of items is summarized in the lower part of the work list below all groups of items. |
By using these icons, rows in a work list can be marked as completed. This is to help you to keep track of what is done and what is left to be done in your lists. When clicking the icon it turns green . This indicated that the row is completed. |
The details of each item are hidden by default. Use the icon to expand an item to view the details. The details are hidden again by clicking the icon once more.

In the upper right-hand side of the work list view, a drop-down menu containing all VIDA languages is available. Here you can change the language for the items in the work list you are currently working with to another language than the VIDA application language. Changing language can e.g. be useful when communicating with a customer talking another language than the default VIDA language. Note that all application texts always follow the default application language and will not be affected by the language selected in this drop-down menu. This dynamic language change only affects the items in the current list. Previously opened tabs or any tabs that will be opened later will not be affected.
If you select a language that is included in the Operations and Packages functionality on your market, all CSC, parts, operations and packages will be viewed in the selected language. If you select a language that is not included in the Operations and Packages functionality on your market, only CSC and parts will be viewed in the selected language. Operations and packages will still be viewed in the default VIDA language.
All languages that are included in the Operations and Packages functionality on your market is shown in the language drop-down menus on the Operations and Packages pages.
